É fato que as aventuras de J.K. Rowling transformaram a vida de milhões de jovens ao redor do mundo em um espaço de 10 anos (Me incluo nessa lista). As adaptações da escritora britânica para as telonas sempre foram alvo constante de crítica, por trazerem tramas vazias para muitos especialistas de cinema ou por tratar-se de um produto feito para vender. O trailer arrebatador de Harry Potter e as Relíquias da Morte, divulgado em outubro, predizia uma das produções mais importantes da década, prometendo ser marcante para a enorme legião de fãs.
Por incrível que pareça, HP7 fez o dever de casa. Pela primeira vez na história das adaptações da série, o produto gerado é tão bom quanto livro e reserva uma trama que chega a beirar um drama, em vários momentos. Se a Warner Bros era o pesadelo dos aficcionados pela saga de Potter, dessa vez a produtora tem tudo para conquistá-los com o melhor filme de toda a série até o momento, acreditem.
A grande explicação para o alcançado foi a divisão da obra. Apesar de ser uma clara jogada de marketing da Warner, a obra pôde ser melhor explorada – conseguindo, de longe, ser o mais fiel de toda a saga. Falando em fidelidade, nem é preciso dizer: o roteiro da produção é incrível, explora o que a obra traz de melhor e encerra essa primeira parte no momento certo – bem no ápice, abrindo para a batalha final que se aproxima. Abandonar o lado mais de aventura também foi uma ótima sacada de Steve Kloves, responsável pelo texto do filme pela 6ª vez. Pela primeira vez, Kloves merece elogios – junto com o diretor David Yates, que agrada com ângulos mais trabalhados.
Marca registrada dos filmes Potter, os belos efeitos especiais também não deixam a desejar. Os primeiros quinze minutos de filme são de deixar qualquer espectador sem respirar, apresentando tomadas bem feitas, aliando o melhor da fotografia com a computação gráfica. A conversão para o 3D, que foi abandonada pela Warner há um mês da estreia, não fez falta: são poucas cenas em que a tridimensionalidade poderia ser explorada.
Contudo, o grande destaque da fita fica com o trio de protagonistas, que faz um trabalho espetacular. Dan Radcliffe (HP) diz mais uma vez a que veio e possui uma postura mais convincente comparada ao filme antecessor, Harry Potter e o Enigma do Príncipe. Quem de fato merece aplausos é o casal Emma Watson (Hermione) e Rupert Grint (Ron), que dão a cara a bater e fazem as melhores atuações de suas promissoras carreiras. Lembra da Hermione em HP1, aquela nerd de 2001? Watson não tem mais nada dela. Não é nem preciso dizer a conduta de Ralph Fiennes (Voldermort) que, como sempre, aterroriza e faz uma das melhores performances da produção como um todo.
Por fim, Harry Potter e as Relíquias da Morte – Parte I impressiona e se firma como franco favorito ao Oscar em categorias técnicas. Aproximando-se de um drama de qualidade, a primeira parte do desfecho de Potter é digno, deve agradar mais aos fãs do que aos leigos no assunto (e, mesmo assim, receberá comentários positivos) e, pela primeira vez, mexe de verdade com as emoções do espectador. É aí que HP7 sai ganhando.
